Description:
We provide
assistance through mediation for couples whose relationships have
broken down or are breaking down, and to other family members.
When relationships have broken down and families are living apart
or intend to live apart, we can help with settlement of differences
and sorting out issues such as where the children will live, how
they will continue contact with both parents, grandparents etc,
financial matters and the like. This is the alternative to using
the courts; legal aid available. We run contact centres where
children can spend time with a parent or family member if this
will help regular contact continue. We work with families who
are separated through family member being in prison.
We
work with parents and adolescent children where there is conflict
affecting family life.
