About this organisation: Bradford LGB Strategic partnership is managed by lesbian, gay and bisexual people on behalf of the LGB communities in Bradford .

Our aims are to:

- Play a key role in the development of our communities

- Challenge homophobia and heterosexism

- Ensure that the long-term needs of our community are provided for

- Act as a network for advancing lesbian, gay and bisexual issues

- Manage the Equity Centre ( Bradford 's LGB Community Centre)

A variety of LGB groups meet at the centre and others are being developed, for example, an older LGB activity group and a drop in.  The health worker is currently undertaking a Health Needs Assessment of the LGB communities in Bradford & District which will give the partnership an idea of where to target health resources and to be able to feedback the findings to local health services. For more information, contact Sarah on 727759 or email health@equitypartnership.org.uk . A free monthly news bulletin is produced, which keeps LGB communities and agencies up to date with what is available.  To get on the mailing list, contact Rachel on 727759 or email rachel@equitypartnership.org.uk .
